The Amazon Alexa-powered CoWatch that was unveiled in April 2016, has been rebranded as the iMCO Watch, and is now selling in India via Yerha.com.
On board the iMCO Watch brings Alexa’s voice assistant that can perform useful tasks like, asking for the weather, controlling your smart home, looking for information on the Internet & even shopping from online.
The iMCO Watch houses a 400 x 400 pixel AMOLED display. It’s powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1 Gigabyte of RAM and 8 Gigabytes of internal storage. It has most of the important sensors including accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer as well as a heart sensor.
The smartwatch has been built with stainless steel & has a ceramic ring on top and it is also dust and water resistant. You can activate Alexa by pressing down the crown button or by tapping the Alexa icon on the display. There’s no voice-activation like Echo devices though.
iMCO Watch runs on Cronologics OS, company’s own Android-based operating system. While it is compatible with both Android and iOS, all computing on Cronologics happens either on the watch or on the cloud, so the watch is not necessarily reliant on the smartphone to work.
