Facebook is keen about user experience on their Social Media site and hence you will find updates recurring at uniform intervals on Facebook. Just few minutes back, Facebook gives a pop-up message on my screen “New! A chat sidebar for small screen. Check a photo to chat or hover to expand.”

This update is nothing but a small change on your chat sidebar. You will now see thumbnails, instead of the open chat bar. To initiate the chat you can either check on the photo or just hover to expand the sidebar.
There is no change in the setting. I guess this update is made to give users a better experience on their small screen devices. This is all we have got on this news. This update is out already and if you haven’t received you might get it in few hours or days.
