As you can see here that, on the top-left there is a Big & two comparatively smaller but different sized holes. Now, the Bigger hole is definitely for the 20MP Front Facing Camera that’ll reportedly have a wide aperture. Now one of those small holes are probably for an IR sensor so, we assume that OnePlus may try to go the Apple way & implement 3D Facial Recognition on the OnePlus 5T. Also, there might be some AI capabilities built into the device to make the Facial Recognition work accurately.
The OnePlus 5T will pack some top notch hardware Hardware as well. The Snapdragon 835, 8 Gigs of RAM, 64 & 128 Gigabyte Storage Options, 16MP Main & 20MP (Probably) Telephoto shooters on the back, 20MP Shooter at the Front & of course that 6 inch 2160 x 1080 Samsung OLED Display.
So, if OnePlus is giving 3D Facial Recognition in the OnePlus 5T then fine but, they must ensure that it’s safe. If they do something like what Samsung did on their S8 & Note 8 then, there is even no point for that feature. Anyway let’s see what it actually turns out on the official unveiling.
