Zenfone 3 Deluxe First Impression Review – The Best Smartphone Yet

In the Android Smartphone industry, we are all possessed with brands like Samsung, Motorola, One Plus and HTC, but not here on. At the Computex 2016, ASUS has really surprised everyone with their Flagship Zenfone 3 series. At the event, ASUS launched Zenfone 3, Zenfone 3 Deluxe and Zenfone 3 Ultra. All three of these smartphones comes blended with top spec.

Out of all the Zenfone 3 series, one that really took my attention was the Zenfone 3 Deluxe. As the name suggested, Zenfone 3 Deluxe is expensive amongst all Zenfone 3 series.

Design:

Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the worlds first Full Metal Aluminum Unibody Smartphone, which gives the smartphone an elite look. The biggest improvement is done on the display. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe comes with 5.7-inch FHD AMOLED display that is supported by ASUS’s Tru2Life technology that gives your display a very bright and crisp color tone. Along with the bigger display, the 5-magnet speaker watching videos becomes more clear and sharp. When tested at high volume the sound was not muddy, but crystal clear.

The smartphone has a smooth matt-textured surface that gives a very nice grip to hold your phone. The surface is made by sandblasting it with the hyperfine particle.

Inside the Hood:

With better design and display, the Smartphone is also powered by top spec inside the hood. The Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Ultra is installed with Snapdragon 625 Octa-Core processor, whereas the has Snapdragon 820. The Andero 530 GPU ensures better gaming experience, which means you can now enjoy playing high-end games, supporting high graphics. One of the most impressive improvements made in the Zenfone 3 Deluxe is the 6GB RAM. The 6GB RAM gives a clear picture of a very smooth performance. With this 6GB RAM processing in this Smartphone will be ease.

They have added a fingerprint sensor at the back, which I found 90% accurate.

Camera:

Rear Camera:

After knowing the high Spec, they again surprise us with the 23MP rear camera, which this time is supported by Sony IMX318 sensor. The IMX318 is considered to be one of the best camera sensors for a smartphone. What changes in the camera is the Lazer Auto Focus? This time ASUS has Tri-Tech Auto Focus, which is said to be 2 times better than the Lazer Auto Focus Technology. According to our previous test on Zenfone Max and Zenfone Lazer, the Laser Auto-Focus was still the best Auto-Focus technology, but I have high hopes with the Tri-Tech Auto Focus this time. The camera still supports Pixel Master 3.0.

Front Camera:

The Zenfone 3 Deluxe is supported by 8MP camera, which gives you a good wide angel camera. The front camera also supports Pixel Master 3.0.

Verdict:

With the launch of the Zenfone 3 , ASUS has now become one of the biggest threats to Samsung and Motorola. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe is till now one of the best flagship smartphones. The key USP of this smartphone is the 6GB RAM and 23 MP Camera. I would suggest this phone to everyone. Being a flagship phone, it still doses not cost you a bomb to your pocket. You will still have the cash to blog air in your pocket. The Zenfone 3 Deluxe cost for $499.
