Apple May Finally Include LTE Capabilities In The 3rd Gen Apple Watches

According to a recent report, Apple may finally implement LTE cellular support for the upcoming generation of Apple watches. Also, there’ll be a major change in the design approach of the devices.

Developer Jeffrey Grossman found the Firmware code string quoted GizmoPreservaingeSIM (Gizmo is the Apple Watch product code) that indicates to the Cellular Network Support option in the Gen 3 Apple watches.

There was also another string quoted GizmoRadioBundleIdentifier that may refer to the Cell Radio Transmission in the 3rd Gen Apple Watches. This time Intel is making the wireless baseband chip for the upcoming Apple watches.

The next Generation of Apple watches may come out by the end of this year and LTE connectivity option may open a lot of functional possibilities for them. But, we hope Apple includes this feature to all the variants of the series instead of implementing in just the highest-end variant.
