The Wi-Fi Alliance has certified a new ASUS device with the Model Number ASUS_X00QD which by the previous ASUS Naming Policy, seems to be the Zenfone 5 Max.
The certification clearly shows that the device supports Dual Band (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz) 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi. Also, the device is running on top of Android 8.0 Oreo.
Now, if you remember we have mentioned Zenfone 5 Lite ZC600KL in a previous article & ZC generally means bigger battery so, there is a chance that ASUS X00QD is the exact same model.
However, all the informations are pointing towards the launch of the Zenfone 5 2018 series to be on this MWC 2018 so, maybe we’re really close to have a whole new series of ASUS Zenfones. But, we hope that they make all the models available in major countries unlike they did with the Zenfone 4 Series.
