A couple of days ago, ASUS confirmed that the Zenfone 5 is getting a DxOMark score pretty soon. Well, that score has arrived & the Zenfone 5 (ZE620KL) has scored “90” overall in DxOMark.
In dedicated sections, the Zenfone 5 has scored 93 in “Photo” & “86” in Video. The Photo score is literally higher than the 1st gen Google Pixel (90) which is impressive cause, the Pixel used to run on the Snapdragon 821 which had a way better ISP than the Snapdragon 636 that has been used in the Zenfone 5 and the Google camera software has always been amazing.
Right Now The Zenfone 5 (90) sits right between the iPhone 8 (93) & Google Pixel (90) in the DxOMark ranking list and it is literally the only mid-range device sitting in that territory. So, looks like ASUS really has done a great job with the Camera of the Zenfone 5.
