The Huawei Mate 20 will be the first Huawei device to feature the Kirin 980 SOC which is expected to be a huge leap in performance compared to the current gen Kirin 970. That assumption is screaming to be true in a recent Benchmark leak on the AnTuTu platform which shows groundbreaking results. Huawei Mate 20 Caught On AuTuTu With A Massive Score Of 356918

The Huawei Mate 20 Caught On AuTuTu With A Massive Score Of 356918 which confirms that it is indeed running on the Kirin 980 & surprisingly even the Snapdragon 845 is unable to compete it. This also means that Huawei might be using the 7nm Process Technology this time & that is completely possible as the Kirin 980 is expected to be Manufactured by TSMC.

The 7nm Process Technology will also be used in the Snapdragon 855 by Qualcomm, the Exynos 9820 by Samsung & the A12 by Apple so, the the Kirin 980 gives us a first look at how much power (or more) 7nm might pack at least on the Android side. Also, all these new SOCs are expected to be 5G compatible as well.

The Kirin 980 in the Mate 20 & other upcoming Huawei devices, will compete with the Snapdragon 855, Exynos 9820 & Apple A12 head by head. However, this time the competition will be super tough. Who do you think will be able to make the most powerful SOC ? Let us know in the comments section below.
