It’s been raining Android 6.0 Marshmallow updates this month. Today we got to know that Motorola X Pure Edition goes for Android 6.0 soak test. David Schuster, Senior Director, SW Product Management at Motorola Mobility wrote on one of his G+ post “I’m pleased to announce that today we are starting the soak test period of Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade for the 2015 Moto X Pure Edition (3rd Gen) in the US. We will monitor the soak for next week and with good results, proceed to full launch.”
There are probabilities that during the soak test, some of the devices might get the Android 6.0, so that they could monitor the reliability. This test will go for a week or two and then will first release in the USA.
