Samsung Will Announce The Galaxy S9 On 25th February 2018

We all knew that Samsung is going to announce the Galaxy S9 in the MWC 2018 but, it seems like they’re bringing it a couple of days earlier. Today, we spotted a Tweet on the Twitter Handle of Samsung Mobile India that clearly mentions the date 25.02.2018 for the announcement of the Galaxy S9 & S9+.

The Galxy S9 & S9+ will be powered by the Snapdragon 845 in the US & it’ll be using the Exynos 9810 everywhere else. The regular S9 will pack a Single Rear Camera while the S9+ will pack Dual Rear Cameras & this is probably a Regular+Telephoto setup like we saw in the Galaxy Note 8. So, support for portrait mode shall be there in the S9+.

The main highlight of both the devices is going to be the AI capabilities that come included with both the Snapdragon 845 & the Exynos 9810. So, the Cameras are definitely going to be AI enhanced this time & other smart features like 3D Face Recognition will also make their way into the Galaxy S9. With all these new additions, the prices are also expected to be higher compared to the Galaxy S8 & S8+.
