SONY Can Launch Three New Phones Named XZ1c, XZ1 And XZ1 Compact At IFA Berlin

This IFA Berlin 2017 is going to be interesting. First we got the news of Intel’s 8th Gen Core Processor Unveiling & now, it’s Sony who suddenly came under the radar.

Some recent reports claim that Sony is going to launch three new phones at a press event on 31st August at IFA Berlin 2017. These phones will be called the Xperia XZ1c, XZ1 & XZ1 Compact.

The XZ1c is the mid end variant of this series. It’s rumored to come with a 4.6 inch 1080P Display & as a surprise, the first Rear Fingerprint Scanner in Xperia phones. It may also equip a 19 Megapixel Rear Camera powered by an IMX 400 sensor & 3000 mAh or higher capacity Battery.

The XZ1 is the Flagship model. It may include a Snapdragon 835, 4 Gigabytes of RAM, a 5.2 inch 1440P Super Amoled Display, 3000 Battery.

The XZ1 Compact is the smaller variant of the XZ1. It’s rumored to include a 4.6 inch 1080P or 720P Display, a 2800 mAh Battery. The other rumored specifications claim a Snapdragon 835 but, if the device is coming with a 720P Display then, it’s can’t be an 835.

Also, some leaked images claim that these phones may come out with Android 8.0 but, even if the images are true we expect them to be running on a Beta Firmware & the actual devices may come out with Android 7.1.1 Nougat & receive the Android 8.0 update after the release of the firmware officially.
