Uber To Make Flying Cars Possible With NASA

 

If you think flying cars is just a concept, then you will start believing it after this this news. This Tuesday NASA & Uber made an announcement of their tie-up for introducing flying taxi in Uber areas.

This is not the first time that we have seen the concept of flying taxi. Last year we had already spotted a flying taxi by a German start-up called “Lily.“Since then this is the another update about the flying taxi. This flying taxi will definitely not run on fuel, but will be an electric taxi as confirmed by the officials.

The further update regarding the Uber flying taxi will be made official after the second-annual summit to discussion. But, what we know at present is that the official commercial flying taxi will be out by 2023, where people can book them through the Uber app as the regular way they do it today in 2018.

NASA associate administrator Jaiwon Shin said in his statement, “Urban air mobility could revolutionize the way people and cargo move in our cities and fundamentally change our lifestyle much like smart phones have.”

With his statement it has become that the future seems to be much better than what we see now. But, we also have keep things in mind that even Google is coming Airbus in future, which can be a direct competition. But, it really doesn’t who gets it first, as we are the one who would be benefited with this.
