Zenfone Max Pro (M1) Got Face Unlock Just Before Going On Pre-order In India
The ASUS Zenfone Max Pro (M1) has created quite a hype with with it’s mid-range hardware & a huge battery at a budget price point. Specially in India the hype is pretty damn real. When ASUS India announced the Zenfone Max Pro (M1), they did mention that they’ll be adding Face Unlock through a future software update. At that point we didn’t really know that how long that update will take to arrive. But, surprisingly enough ASUS rolled out the update starting today & the device is literally going on Pre-order tomorrow.
The firmware version is 14.2016.1804.252 & alongside the Face Recognition feature, it also improves the Response time of the Fingerprint Sensor which seemed to be a bit slow with pre-released software & also optimizes the functionality of the Gyroscope in the device.
As I mentioned earlier, the Zenfone Max Pro (M1) is going on pre-order tomorrow & it’ll be sold exclusively via. Flipkart. The 3GB, 32GB model will be costing 10999 INR & the 4GB, 64GB model will be costing 12999 INR which are literally amazing price points for a Snapdragon 636 powered device with a 5.99 inch 2160×1080 (18:9) IPS Display & 13MP+5MP Dual Rear Cameras & a massive 5000 mAh Battery. The 6GB, 64GB model however, is not going to be available right now & it will go on sale sometime in the near future.
