Apple AR painting 2

If you are into tech, you probably know that Augmented Reality (AR) is one of the most desirable hotcakes right now. AR has a huge potential in almost all the major industrial fields including Engineering, Media & others. Also AR can be a huge step up in the field of Education.

For having so much potential, all the major brands are pushing Augmented Reality. We have seen Microsoft taking things to the next level with their Hololens. Google also came up with Google Glass & Google Tango (for Android). Next big name in this game is probably going to be Apple. Looks like they’re planning to compete head to head with Google Tango.

A recent leak suggests that, as an upcoming feature of iOS 11, Apple may include support for AR Drawing that can be operated just with your fingers. This is an ARKit Framework based feature that Apple is looking forward to.

In this process, by detecting your fingers & following them, the device will be able to draw virtually in the air or on a surface. But, you don’t need to get exited right now. Even if you’re device is running iOS 11, for hardware limitations, this feature may be exclusive to the upcoming generations of iPhones & maybe iPads as well.

But, even if Apple comes up with something like this, will they be able to catch Google who already have a quite evolved environment for their Tango platform ? Well, probably no. But, anyway this can be a start of something really useful in the technology industry.

So, what do you guys think ? Will Apple beat Google ? Let us know in the comments section right below this article !
