Honor is also launching a Honor 9 Lite on 21st December, 2017 in China. Now don’t get too much exited as this is like a redesigned Honor 9i with some AI features.
A new invite has been sent to Chinese Media that confirms the Date and the AI capabilities in the device.
Now, the Kirin 659 does not come with AI support so, whatever AI features Honor is using, it’s definitely in the software. So, we already have the Honor 7x & Honor 9i that are powered by the the Kirin 659 & they come with an 18:9 Full HD Display that is of course what Honor 9 Lite is using.
We don’t really have any confirmed news about the rest of the Specifications but, we are suspecting 4GB RAM, 64GB Internal Memory, 16+2 MP Rear Cameras & 13 + 2 MP Front Cameras. And of course some AI stuff in the Camera. So, we don’t really know what is even the logic behind another similarly loaded device. But, maybe Honor has some plans for availability in different countries so, let’s see what they want to do after the device has been lauched.
In China, the device might be available in December but, the other countries might get it within the Q1 of 2018.
