OPPO R7 And R7 Plus : China Steps Up Its Game
Speculations have been ripe about Oppo’s new flagship smartphone the R7, however the Chinese have sprung another surprise from their hat by launching a TV commercial featuring the R7 along with a larger sibling namely the R7 Plus.
Bearing uncanny resemblance to the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus duo, the Oppo R7 and R7 Plus are rumoured to come loaded with cutting edge technology and features. Although we can only learn about it in full detail after its launch slated on 20th May.
At first sight, the edge to edge display of the R7 easily captivates, giving an impression of a seamless, bezel free display, on the lines of the much talked about Samsung S6 edge but lacking the curves which makes the latter a standout.
The Oppo R7 is said to feature a 5-inch Display (1080×1920 pixel resolution) with Gorilla Glass. It has metal body dimensioned 6.3mm (approx) chassis, 2320mAH battery (with VOOC rapid charging technology, which translates into 2 hours of battery life for a 5 minute charge), 64-bit Octa core CPU and a very capable 5 MP front and 20.7 MP back camera. Albeit the Oppo R7 Plus is said to have similar technical specifications (albeit a thicker enclosure to accommodate a bigger battery and a larger screen). The rumours of a Rear mounted Finger-Print sensor with Infra-red technology has set the micro-blogger community abuzz as far as the possibilities are concerned.
