The Redmi 4A was quite a popular device on the low budget segment. Having quite decent specifications for quite a low price, made it a quite desirable device for budget seekers in India. A new Tenaa Listing tells that Xiaomi is bringing the successor to it. Below in this article, we will cover The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A Will Bring Several Improvements Over The Redmi 4A.

Being called the Redmi Note 5A, this device brings few improvements over it’s predecessor. First of all this device is coming with 1.4 GHz Processor that we assume as the Octa-core Snapdragon 430. The Redmi 4A came with a Snapdragon 425 so, quite a bump in the performance segment. RAM & ROM capacities will however stay unchanged with 2GB RAM & 16GB ROM.

The Redmi 4A lacked the Fingerprint Scanner which is also not there in the Redmi Note 5A. The screen size has been bumped up to 5.5 inches. Though the resolution still lies at 1280 x 720.

In the Camera segment it’s packing a 13 MP Rear & a 5 MP Front Camera. So, same resolutions as the Redmi 4A. Anyway, the battery has been slashed to 3000 mah this time that’s slightly lower than the 4A.

The above image also shows a very very desired feature that most smartphones are ditching these days. The Redmi 5A will support both two Micro Sims & a Micro SD card. So, no hybrid slots here. Dedicated slots are built into the Sim Tray itself.

Now, with all these improved features, we do expect some increase in the Price. The 4A was available for 5999 INR in India (~94 USD) but, for Note 5A we are expecting 6999 INR (~110 USD) or even a slighty higher price tag.
