Face Unlock is one of the cool features that every smartphone would likes to have, & all the low-end smartphone are not blessed with this feature. But not all. Redmi today released a new OTA update for Note 5 Pro user that enabled this Face Unlock feature.
We saw this Face Unlock feature in the iPhone X, then it got carried forward by other brands. This face unlock feature in the Redmi Note 5 Pro renders your 2D image & then allow access to unlock.
So if you haven’t got your hands-on the Note 5 Pro, then 28th Feb is the day to buy it on flash sale.
How to enable Face Unlock in Redmi Note 5 Pro?
- Make sure you have the latest OTA updated in our Redmi Note 5 Pro
- Go to Settings -> tap on “Lock screen & password”
- Tap on Add Face Data
- After you tap on Add face Data you will find a message saying it’s less secured.
- Then it will open the front camera to scan your face.
You are done!
Once this is done, you will have your switch on the screen to make this feature work. There have been complains that the new update still don’t have a stable face unlock mechanize, but it is expected to be stable in the next update.
