It looks like many smartphone manufacturers are moving in the Notch trend in 2017. Recently ASUS announced the Zenfone 5 with a iPhone X like Notch & there is already leaks for the Huawei P20 series, OnePlus 6 & even an an upcoming Oppo smartphone to have the Notch. However, there is a confirmation about an upcoming Vivo Smartphone called the Vivo V9 to have that similar Notch design on the top of it’s Display.
The device has been caught somewhere in Indonesia on a Billboard advertisement that shows off the Notch on the top & Minimalistic bezels at the Bottom. So, here we have another member in the Notch Family.
The Billboard also shows up the Details of the Front Facing Camera which has a 24 Megapixel Sensor that’s similar in resolution to the V7. However, Vivo may actually implement some so called AI features in their Camera & this device will possibly also support 2D Face Unlock.
We’re expecting the Vivo V9 to launch in Indonesia by this month & it may also launch in India as well.
