OnePlus 2 Android 8.0 Oreo ROM Is Under Development In Lineage OS
The OnePlus 2 was the second Flagship from OnePlus & just like the OnePlus One, there was a lot of hype going around this device. Then the device became available and it didn’t came up on expectations & all of the hype kinda completely died. Though, the hype rebuilt with the One Plus 3 & 3T, the OnePlus 2 is no more in discussions. But, there are a plenty of OnePlus 2 users out there & as OnePlus is not pushing the Android Oreo update for it, users seemed to be quite a bit disappointed at this point.
However, if you have a OnePlus 2, you can still taste Android Oreo in your device. The developers at Lineage OS are building a custom Oreo ROM for the One Plus 2.
In a XDA forum post we got this information that, the Android 8.0 Oreo unofficial ROM is under development stages & if you want to install it your device right now, you can get it in it’s Primary Testing (Alpha) stage.
