For those who have the Samsung Galaxy J7, here is a good news for you. This 2016 smartphone is finally receiving Android 8.1 Oreo update. Along with the Android update, they will update the Samsung Experience to version 9.5.
There was no expectation on receiving the Oreo update on J7. This is the first time that Samsung has released two major updates (Oreo & Experience) on a mainstream device.
According to our source, this update is already available in some countries & by the end of November, it should complete in rest of the countries. This new Samsung Experience firmware version “J710FXXU5CRJ8” is around 1GB, which includes some major upgrade to match with Android Oreo.
Among all the mainstream Samsung smartphones, J Series is widely used & is the first Samsung Mainstream smartphone to receive this update. After receiving Oreo on J7, everyone is expecting to hit J5, but there’s no official confirmation.
This also brings us to notice that, there is a possibility that Samsung might release Oreo for other mainstream smartphones. This also ensures that Oreo update will release only for 2016 manufactured devices.
