ASUS Delays Zenfone 3 Zoom Launch In US

Early this year, ASUS USA announced that they’ll launch the Zenfone 3 Zoom in February. But, now they have reportedly delayed their launch till Q2 of 2017. In reply to a Fan’s post, ASUS USA said that,

“Unfortunately, the ZenFone 3 Zoom has been delayed until Q2. We’re reworking it with better specs so you and many others can have an awesome smartphone to use.”

So, even if the phone arrives with the same design, we can expect upgrades in the segments like Processor, RAM etc. The specs it was anounced with, included f-1.7 Dual 12 MP Rear camera that has 2.3x optical zoom capabilities, a 14nm Snapdragon 625 SOC, 4GB RAM, 5.5 inch 1080P Amoled Display & a huge 5000 mah battery.

Now, let’s see how ASUS can improve the device & exact what spcs they’ll include to do that. Also, can ASUS maintain their pre-announced $399 price tag ? Let’s wait until Q2.
