Google has introduced a new platform for Musicians that’ll help them to connect with their fans across the world a little bit easier. No, this isn’t any direct chatting feature between the Musician & his fans but, it’s rather a way to submit their latest updates directly to Google so, whenever their fans search their names in Google, all the updates directly show up on the Google Search page. Google is calling this new feature, Google Posts.
That Blue shield with a tick-mark on it represents that the Musician is verified & the posts under it were officially submitted to Google.
Users can also Follow their favorite Musicians to get their updates directly even without needing to search it for again.
Alongside Kygo, other artists like Sia, Steve Aoki, Lorde, Son Little, Sofi Tukker & Shakira are already in the list of available artists on Google Posts. This list will eventually expand as more & more Musicians start to use this feature & even if you’re favorite musicians are not in the list right now, soon you should be able to get all the important updates like Album Release dates, Tour Dates & more.
