NASA App Is Now Available For Amazon Fire TV

NASA App Is Now Available For Amazon Fire TV. This version joins previous releases of the app for iOS, Android, and Apple TV devices.

With the NASA app, the public can browse NASA’s amazing discoveries directly from their personal devices,” said Bob Jacobs, the deputy associate administrator for communications at the agency’s Headquarters in Washington.

Today, users with Amazon Fire TV and other services can explore NASA’s wealth of images, videos and more on their home televisions.

 

The NASA app for Amazon  TV offers several features for users, including:

  • Watch live-streaming NASA Television
  • Get a real-time view of Earth from the International Space Station
  • View more than 16,000 images, either individually or as a slideshow
  • Play more than 14,000 on-demand NASA videos
  • Learn more about NASA’s current missions

 

We are always looking for new and exciting ways to bring NASA to the public,” said Eugene Tu, center director at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Silicon Valley, where NASA apps are developed.

The NASA app is available for free in the app store on the Amazon Fire TV.
