Lenovo K8 Note Launches In India With A 10-core Helio x23 And Dual Rear Cameras !
We already told you that Lenovo is skipping the K7 Note & coming with a K8 note instead. Well today, they have finally launched it. The K8 Note with a Deca-core CPU & Dual Rear Cameras. This is Lenovo’s bet for 2017 for the budget oriented market of India. It comes with a ton of features packed in a 5.5 inch form factor. The specifications include,

- 3 or 4 Gigabytes of RAM
- 32 or 64 Gigabytes of Internal Storage
- 13 MP+ 5MP Rear Camera
- 13 MP Front Camera
- 4000 mAh Battery
- Stock Android ( 7.1.1 Nougat)
- Dedicated Music Key (Remapable)
- Theater Max support for VR

- Dolby Atmos Support
The highlighting features are definitely on the Performance, Camera & Multimedia side. The main spotlight however is the Dual Rear Cameras. While the 13 MP f-2.0 primary sensor is used to capture the complete information of the image, the 5 MP sensor will measure the depth & distance of the main subject & it’s surroundings. Keeping the main subject in focus, this system can create that shallow Depth Of Field effect in Portraits. In the front there is a 13 MP sensor for Selfies as well.
The device also comes with a Dedicated Music Key that can either be used to control Music functions with Single, Double & Tripple press on the key or it can be Remaped to perform other functionalities as well. Also, Lenovo is including Dolby Atmos & their own TheaterMax technology to enhance the Multimedia Experience on the device.
On the Software side Lenovo is ditching their own skin for a Pure Stock Android experience. The device will ship with Android 7.1.1 Nougat & Lenovo claims to deliver Guaranteed Software updates to the device. So, that 10-core Helio X23 coupled with stock Android should provide a fluid user experience but, don’t expect zero heating issues from this device.
