Samsung To Launch A Foldable OLED Display Smartphone In 2018

We have been hearing a lot about the foldable Galaxy X smartphone that Samsung was teasing since a long time. Last year Samsung hinted in an event in India they’ll launch the device pretty soon & we’re not surprised by the news that Samsung will launch the device in this year.

In a Blog post Samsung said,

“The OLED panel business will strengthen its competitiveness in the premium segment with the release of foldable panels…”

As it was about their roadmap of this year, it’s safe to say the Galaxy X will be here within 2018 & by no means we’re expecting it to be a mid-end smartphone.

Just like the S9 & S9+, the Galaxy X shall be running on top of the Exynos 9810. Also the OLED panel of the Galaxy X is expected to be 7.3 inches in size but, as the device will be foldable, it shall easily fit in your pocket.
