This Smartphone Is Almost Completely Bezel-less

When everyone thought that the Vivo Apex was the limit as far as Bezel-less Displays can go in 2018 then, Doogee is probably trying to get that crown with their Mix 4 smartphone. Mrwhosetheboss did an exclusive hands-on with a non-working prototype of the device & this is the first device to dumb the bezels almost completely & achieve almost 100% screen to body ratio.

Doogee Mix series has always been inspired by Xiaomi’s Mi Mix series but, with the Doogee Mix 4 they seem to have taken a completely different step from what Xiaomi did with their Mi Mix 2S & created something that looks a lot futuristic.

This Smartphone Is Almost Completely Bezel-lessThe device uses a sliding mechanism where the back portion actually slides up & exposes the Dual Front Facing cameras, Earpiece & Proximity Sensor. This means, whenever a call arrives or whenever the user needs a take a selfie or do a video call, sliding up the back portion will be required.

On the Back there are two Cameras but, there is no Fingerprint Scanner which can mean two things. First one is the probability of an Under-display Fingerprint Scanner which will be tough thing for Doogee at this point. Other one is, as this is just a non-functioning demo device, the final working model might have a Fingerprint Scanner on the back.

It’s still not clear where the Doogee Mix 3 went but, probably it is coming out as the Doogee Mix 4 itself. However, availability is a huge question here. Even if Doogee manages to bring the device in production, will it actually come out in 2018 ? If yes, then probably not very soon. Maybe Q4 of 2018 but, again no confirmation on that.
