In the 18:9 display trend, Huawei adds in the new Huawei Y9 2018 model with 18:9 display. The smartphone comes with the 5.9-inch FHD display but a weird resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels.
This smartphone is featured with octa-core Kirin 659 processor supported with 3GB RAM & 32GB memory, which can be expandable. up to 128 GB. Apart from this, the smartphone comes with a massive battery of 4,000 mAh. It seems that they understand the value of bigger battery. The bigger battery will be one of the selling points as compared to the competitors.
What’s more is the camera. The smartphone comes with dual camera on the front & rear. The front camera (selfie camera) comes with 16MP + 2MP lens, where as the rear camera comes with 13MP + 2MP camera lens. This is clear that the Huawei Y9 2018 model is more focused on front selfie camera. The smartphone will run Android 8.0 along with EMUI 8.0.
Looking at the spec it is clear that the smartphone is above the budgeting segment.
