In a press conference, San Francisco, Hugo Barra, Vice president of global Millet announced that Millet later this year formally launch an online store with a plan to enter other market in the US market. However, the Millet won’t be selling their smartphones due to hardware certification, software testing, and infrastructure, but they will start selling their wristbands, mobile power, headphones and other accessories.
This move taken my Millet will undoubtedly increase more brand awareness in the region and we can say this would be a great strategy to increase their future sales in the US. This step by Millet will definitely decrease sales of their competitors. In the Press Conference, the release date of the Millet online store have not been declared, but we are expecting it be released soon.
