Moto X4 Got A 6GB RAM Variant In India
Motorola Moto X4 was one of the very first devices in India that was powered by the Snapdragon 630 SOC & it also had IP68 Water & Dust Resistance which made it the only option with IP68 in that price point. The device started at 20999 for 3GB RAM & 32GB Internal Storage variant & the 4GB 64GB Model was around 22999. Now, Lenovo (which now owns Motorola) has introduced another variant which ships with 6GB RAM & 64GB Internal Storage & it is priced at 24999 In India.

So, it’s a straight forward pricing policy. You pay 2000 Rupees more for that 2 Gigs of RAM increase.
Should you buy the 6GB RAM variant ? Well probably not cause, it’s a Snapdragon 630 right ? So, it’s very hard for even Flagship SOCs to take advantage of 6 Gigs of RAM & the 630 is actually a Mid-end SOC so probably you won’t be able to take the Advantage of that extra RAM. We’ll still recommend to get the 22999 Variant with 4 Gigs of RAM & save the extra 2000 bucks if you want the device.
However, if you don’t care about all that stuff & want the 6 GB RAM variant anyway, it’ll go on sale from February 1 on Flipkart & Moto Hubs (Motorola Stores).
