OPPO R15 Official Design Unveiled – 19:9 Display, Dual Cameras And More

OPPO R15 Official Design Unveiled & this time the complete design has been unveiled from the front & back as well. The device definitely has a Notch on the top as we reported earlier but on the back, instead of a complete iPhone X rip off, OPPO went with a Horizontal Dual Camera setup.  So, this is the OPPO R15.

So, finally OPPO R15  is moving to a Glass Sandwich design from the Metal ones. Here two colors can be spotted. One is definitely Red & the other one is Blue maybe. However, the front deign resembles another phone that just came out. Yes, we’re talking about the ASUS Zenfone 5 & this also confirms that the Display has an aspect ratio of 19:9. The Display size shall be pretty close to 6.2 inches as well. (Update: Display size confirmed to be 6.28 inches with 90% screen-to-body ratio)

Talking about hardware, the R15 & R15 Plus may launch with a new Snapdragpon SOC which can be the Snapdragon 670 or something from the new Snapdragon 700 series that Qualcomm just announced. Also, there can be upto 6GB RAM & 64GB of Internal Storage.

There is also mention of AI capabilities so, this probably referrers to some Smart features in the Camera. Also, there will be support for Face Unlock for sure.

The R15 shall get announced within this month in China & as of now there is no info on in which countries (other than China) the device will be made available for purchase.
