Sony Unveiled The Xperia XZ2 Premium With A 4K HDR Display And Dual Rear Cameras
Since the days of the Xperia Z5 Premium, Sony is the only brand who are including 4K Displays in their flagship smartphones. Though, these are not the most popular flagships but, with a 4K Display, these are the only options. So, that trend continues in 2018 as Sony Unveiled The Xperia XZ2 Premium With A 4K HDR Display.
The Xperia XZ2 Premium comes with a 16:9 4K (3840×2160) IPS Display. So, our expectations for the world’s first 18:9 4K AMOLED Display officially died, at least for now. The Display is also HDR capable & Sony also claims that they’ve used the same Triluminos technology that they use in their high-end Televisions.
This is also the very first Xperia smartphone with Dual Rear Cameras. Here Sony has used a similar setup like the Huawei P20. So, one is a 19MP regular sensor with a f-1.8 lens & other one is a 12MP Monochrome sensor with a f-1.6 lens. Alongside Super Slow-mo Video (960fps at 1080P), this camera system is capable of using an ISO level upto 51200 in Photos 12800 in Videos which is way higher than even the P20 Pro. The 13MP f-2.0 Selfie Camera can also go upto ISO 3200 in Photos & 1600 in Videos which shall be helpful in Low-light.
The other specifications are much like the regular XZ2 with a Snapdragon 845, 6GB RAM, 64GB UFS 2.1 of Internal Storage, IP68 Water & Dust Resistance, Android Oreo & a 3540 mAh Battery.
The price is still not official but, the Xperia XZ2 Premium won’t be cheap & it might actually have a price tag closer to that $1000 range. So, if you desire to have a 2018 smartphone with a 4K HDR Display, you will surely need to pay a premium.
