Sony’s New Phone With The Model Number H8116 Caught With A 4K Display But It’s 16:9 Again !
The first 16:9 4K Display for Smartphones came from Sony in the form of the Z5 Premium & then we got the XZ Premium with a much better quality 4K Display. So, we were kinda hoping that the first 18:9 4K Display will come from Sony as well. That chance still remains but, that’s definitely not going to be very soon.
We have spotted some details of new Model that carries the Model No: H8116, where we found hints of Flagship Hardware & of course a 4K Display. But, it’s 3840 x 2160 so, a regular 16:9 Aspect Ratio instead of being an 18:9 one like all the Modern Flagships coming out from all the other major competitors.
Other features include do include things like Bluetooth 5.0, Android 8.0 Oreo but, the main concern will be the SOC we know. So, the way Sony has been rolling their devices out, we are pretty much sure that they will use the Snapdragon 845 for this device. That means it’ll be using the 2nd Gen 10nm Process Technology for increased performance & better power efficiency compared to what we have on the Snapdragon 835 right now.
The Display is also expected to be HDR10 Compatible. However, if it’s an OLED this time who knows, Sony may through Dolby Vision support & the DCI P3 Color Gamut support as well. These features are awesome to have on a smartphone without a doubt & if I get a chance I would like to use a smartphone like that. But Sony, don’t you think that you should come up with an 18:9 Screen at least when you’re launching a phone in 2018 ? You probably need to do that pretty soon & we’d appreciate an 18:9 4K OLED Display from you guys soon.
