These posts with ”#Backto5” confirm the appearance of the ASUS Will Unveil The Zenfone 5 2018 Series In MWC 2018 on the date 27th February 2018 which is the day when MWC 2018 will kick off. Also, the Instagram post hints for 18:9 Displays which was expected as these devices are coming in 2018 & 18:9 is the standard this year even for budget devices.

The 5th Generation of Zenfones are expected to be a real game changer for the company. So, we’re expecting good value for money hardware this time & frankly, ASUS must keep the pricing in control as that’s probably the biggest issue that the company had with their Zenfone 3 & even the Zenfone 4 Series. So, if the company wants to stand out in 2018, keeping the prices low is very important.

So, ASUS may start their game with the Snapdragon 450 or the Snapdragon 625 in their budget devices & have a range of other SOCs like the 630, 660 & even the upcoming 670 for mid-rangers. The flagship that’ll be called (as far expectation goes) the Zenfone 5 Pro, will be powered by the Snapdragon 845.

The Event will kick off on 27th February on 19:30 CET that’s 06.30 GMT or 00.00  IST (28th Feb).
