ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser Extreme Camera Test – Is This A Best Camera Phone?
ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser is said to be one of the best Camera phones. I have the ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser and I have been using it quite often these days and when I saw a video of ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser vs. DSLR I thought of doing an extreme test and clicking photos in extreme condition. The comparison between Laser and DSLR emphasized on the Auto-Focus, but I thought of doing an extreme test on the Zenfone 2 Laser camera.

The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser comes with a 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera with Laser auto-focus that helps you to focus on your object in just 0.03 seconds. The laser technology measures the distance in just a few seconds and gives you the best and clear picture. This is the basic information of the Zenfone 2 camera. Now let’s see the pictures clicked in the extreme condition.
Motion Test:
This was taken to check the motion sensor of the camera and I found it really good. Because of the laser technology, this phone captures many objects steady. While juggling I was moving, but my slow moments are not seen.
ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser camera is good enough for motion photography. Capturing moving objects becomes much easier when you are in a manual model. Surprisingly the photo is clear and focused. Even at the moving objects the laser technology helps you deliver you with the best-focused image.
The above image was taken when I was going on a taxi at 80km/h at manual mode. Clicking this picture, I released that no matter what speed you are, Zenfone 2 Laser will take a clear and focused image on the steady object, no matter the motion. Surprisingly the motion sensor here did deliver a successful image. This ensures that at manual mode you can click pictures no matter the speed the object is.
Low Light:
The ASUS Zenfone 2 laser gives the best low light photo. The above image was clicked with just the flash on. Being low light, it becomes hard to set a proper focus, but the laser technology does half of your work.
The above photo is another test made without flash. The photo is quite clear and focused. The lowlight effect makes the photo look like a professional shoot (If clicked properly). You will see that the there is no image noise. The image is balanced really well with the shadow.
Close Object:
It is really hard to take the best picture of close objects and taking a pic of a close object makes the image a bit distorted. Surprisingly, the Zenfone 2 Laser is not of those. The laser technology helps to focus the object and then the blueglass filter (Image sensor) gives you the best output in a difficult environment.
Conclusion For ASUS Zenfone 2 Laser Camera:
Overall the ASUS Zenfone 2 camera seems to be one of the best camera phones till now. The autofocus is quite impressive because of the laser technology. All thanks to the Toshiba sensor & Blue Glass Filter that makes your click look better. According to me, Zenfone 2 laser is one of the best camera phones. Considering the price factor, Zenfone 2 Laser will give a flagship like performance in camera.

I’ve had the Zenfone 2 Laser for 2 years now and I manage to get some really high quality pro-looking shots, in manual mode. I recommend as a photographer to only use manual mode with this phone because the adjustable features. You CAN get what you want from it.
I’ve also been using the Manual Mode in ASUS phones for years now & to be fair the results are really good. I’m currently using the Zenfone 3 & I was using the Zenfone Zoom before that.
