We had recently visited BenQ Zowie Extremsland CS: GO India Qualifier & during our visit, we interviewed Rajeev Singh, BenQ India Managing Director to gain more knowledge on what BenQ India is expecting in the year 2018-2019. As we have been seeing their growing interest in Indian Gaming Industry from last few years, it was obvious that BenQ is planning something big for Zowie their gaming sub-entity.
During our Interview, Rajeev said, “It was 2016 when we did our first Extremslands tournament & since then, we have included ourselves in the Indian gaming scenes to be a part of growing Indian gaming industry.”
With our further communication, it was clear that BenQ Zowie will be releasing some new range of products in the year 2018-2019. Rajeev said, “Yes! in the year 2018-2019 we will be having some great lineup for gamers that includes Monitors, Gaming Keyboards, and other gaming peripherals.” He also added that with these product lines, the Indian market will witness some of the best products that will be ranged from the lowest to the premium category for people to have options.
With this, it is clear that BenQ is planning to have some exciting range of products to the Indian audience. This also brings a big threat to other similar brands to sustain their market with one addition competition.
Talking about gaming tournaments, Rajeev said that they are planning to go huge for Extremsland 2019.
There have been no straight talks on the product models for the future, but he says that they will be expanding their products like Monitors, Gaming Keyboards, Mic, Mouse, Sound cards and others.
With this, we consider that BenQ in the year 2019 will be getting some exciting products in India. But, we also had a query if they will be focusing just on e-sports gamers. On this Rajeev said that they have product line coming for different segments, but they will definitely have a product line for e-sports gamers too.
