At the NAMM shows 2015 Audio-Technica introduced the ATH-M-70X and today we just got the confirmation news by Audio-Technica about their launch of the new, Limited Edition ATH-M50xDG In India. ATH-M-50xDG is a Professional Monitor Headphones. This limited edition Monitoring headphone is in a dark green in color with the brown earpads and headband. This series is a iteration of the popular ATH-M50x.
It has a large-aperture 45 mm driver with a vigorous build and an isolating earcups. It has a Neodymium Magnet, which doesn’t make the headphone heavy and also provide a better quality sound as compared to the Neo magnet, which is rather heavy and more bass. It has a CCAW (Copper-clad aluminum wire), with a maximum input power of 1, 600mW @ 1kHz and a frequency response from 15Hz to 28, 000 Hz.
Similar to the ATH-M50X series it also has a interchangeable cable. You will get a 3 set of cables that is a 1.2m-3.0 m coiled cable, 3 m straight cable and another 1.2 m straight cable.
For easy monitoring it has a 90-degree rotating earcups, which makes long session recording with ease. We personally prefer ATH headphones our personal choice.
This limited edition ATH M50xDG will be available in India On March 2015 and will cost you INR 14, 499.
