5G Modem In 2019

Qualcomm’s first 5G modem, the X50 will debut with the Snapdragon 855 & almost all the Major OEMs will adapt it in 2019. Qualcomm released a list of their Partner OEMs & Carriers where we got the major names that are joining the early party in 2018.

So, the major list of OEMs include LG, ASUS, Sony, HTC, HMD Global, Xiaomi, ZTE, OPPO, Vivo & more. It’s safe to say that all the Major flagships of 2018 will have 5G support in them. But, your Carrier must support it too right ? So, most of the Major Carriers like Verizon, AT&T, Sprint, Vodafone & many others are also getting into this game by 2019.

So, if you were kinda wishing for 5G networks to come to life, 2019 is probably the year for you.
