NVIDIA has been bringing out their Max-Q laptops for a while now with these really powerful GPUs inside some thin & light laptop chassis, it’s not really necessary to carry around bulky gaming laptops anymore. We had the Max-Q variants of the GTX 1080, GTX 1070 & GTX 1060 until now & the 1050 Ti Max-Q is joining the ally as NVIDIA has already listed the GPU on their website‘s Driver page.
The 1050 Ti has been added in the supported GPU list for the latest 32-bit Linux Driver that carries the version 384.111 .
The 1050 Ti equipped laptops can already be quite thin like we have seen in some Pro-sumer Ultrabooks including the ASUS Zenbook Pro UX550. So, having a Max-Q GTX 1050 Ti can help to make the laptops even thinner so, people who want that Graphical horsepower in super Thin & Light form factors, this, GPU can be a game changer for them. Now, let’s just wait for this GPU to come inside some new Laptops & as it seems, these laptops are mostly going to be Pro-sumer Ultrabooks.
