Inside Zenfone Max Pro M2 Box:

This might be disappointing for you to know that Zenfone Max Pro M2 comes without a headphone. Apart from it, it comes with 5W=2A charger, a Sim Ejecting Pin, User manual and a Silicon case.

Zenfone Max Pro M2 Display

We finally get the Notch in the Zenfone Max Pro M2 hands on. This smartphone comes loaded with a 6.2 -inch FHD + Display and an advanced Gorilla Glass 6protection. With this, Max Pro M2 becomes one of the few devices to get the latest Display protection.

During our usage, we found that the display has less contrast ratio and more blue tone to it. There was no issue using it on any lighting conditions. Unlike the Redmi Note 6 Pro, Zenfone Max pro M2 has a narrowed down Notch with 82% Screen to Body ratio.

Similar to other Notch display, the Max pro M2 also comes with 19:9 Aspect ratio.

Zenfone Max Pro M2 Design

After holding the Zenfone Max Pro M2 in your hand the major change you will see is that ASUS has got rid of the ZenCentric Design. The new design is called the Wave Design that make the smartphone look premium.

The phone is not slim but is slimmer as compared to other 5000 mAh battery smartphone. It is also good to see how ASUS has purged the biggest flaws called the Hybrid-SIM card slot. The phone has 2 SIM card and a SD card slot separately. Apart from that it comes with the traditional volume rocker and a lock button at the right side and the SIM tray on the left.

ZenfoneMax Pro M2 has dual speakers at the bottom alongside the charging port. The speakersare quite loud and are more treble oriented.  It has a dual camera on the rear with flash-light along with single lens camera on the front with flash.

Zenfone Max Pro M2 Camera

Similarto other Smartphones, it comes with dual 12MP + 5MP camera. Itlooks like ASUS will still have the Sony IMX486 sensors on upcomingsmartphones. Along with the dual camera, it also comes with a LED flashlightfor a better picture at night.

Whereas, the front camer is a concern, Zenfone Max Pro M2 has a 13 MP camera sensor with LED light. It is too early to give an indept review on camera, but as per our first impression review, the camera does a good job. Once we do a photoshoot we can have a much better idea about the camera of the smartphone.

Final Verdict

Overall, Zenfone Max Pro M2 is a perfect smartphone and has almost everything that an individual need. But, if you are looking for a dual selfie camera then this might be the right choice for you. Apart from this the phone gives a tough competition to Redimi Note 6 Pro and is par on few features and specs.

Considering the price, ASUS had done a great work to introduce it for 12,999 (Note: for 3GB RAM variant). We would suggest that the 4GB RAM variant Zenfone Max Pro M2 is one of the best choice.
