The 7nm Snapdragon 855 May Debut Before 2018 Ends !

If you think that Processors with 10nm Process Technology are the Future, you’re wrong. 7nm Processors are already reality & their real life use cases are not even way too far. A new report suggests that Samsung who are doing this complete 7nm SOC development thing, may get ready for production within the second half of 2018. And that technology will probably be used in the Snapdragon 855 that’ll be the Successor to the Snapdragon 845.

The 7nm Snapdragon 855 May Debut Before 2018 Ends

The 7nm Snapdragon 855 is expected to have several advantages over 10nm Snapdragon 845 including 30-40% Performance bump, better AI capabilities & much higher Power Efficiency. Though, even the Snapdragon 845 isn’t announced yet, we’re already getting these infos about it’s successor. But, don’t trust these rumors way too much as it’s too early to confirm any rumor about the Snapdragon 855.

Also, all the Snapdragon 855 equipped devices may ship with ultrasonic Fingerprint Scanners embedded under the screen. Though, this technology is already supported in some new Snapdragon SOCs & the Snapdragon 845 will have even a better support for it, the Snapdragon 855 will probably be the point where this technology will become mainstream.

The earliest appearance of the Snapdragon 855 is expected to be on Q4 of 2018. So, technology is evolving really fast & we don’t really know where the limit is. But, as they say “Sky is the Limit”.
