After the U11 that has the same old 16:9 Display, HTC is now working on it’s successor which will feature an 18:9 Display. We assume this device to be the HTC U11 Plus. The device was recently spotted on GFXBench with the Model No: HTC 2Q4D1.

The 6 inch Display here has a resolution of 2880 x 1440 that translates to a an 18:9 Aspect Ratio. So, this is going to be first HTC phone to feature an 18:9 Display & we hope it’s going to be an OLED this time because,  the LCD Display on the U11 just doesn’t stand up in front of the other top tier Flagships.

Talking of the other Specifications, we have a Snapdragon 835 CPU, Adreno 540 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB Internal Stoarge. Though the Cameras are listed as 11MP & 7MP here but, we’re pretty sure that’s it’s 12MP & 8MP again. But, it’s still a Single Camera setup in the back if that matters to you.

This device is also running the Android 8.0 Nougat. So, a relatively minor upgrade to the HTC U11 in terms of Hardware with a bigger screen & lesser Bezels & there is a pretty big chance that it’ll be called the HTC U11 Plus. But, we’re not 100% sure about the Name of the device. And hey, expect no headphone jack (again) in this device.
