Snapdragon 845 Is Expected To Be Unveiled In October 2017 And May Come With 5G Support

Few days ago, we got some leaked specifications for the Snapdragon 845 & this time we also probably know when it will be launched. Qualcomm just announced their 4G/5G Summit 2017 & they’ll probably announce the Snapdragon 845 right in that event.

So, the Qualcomm 4G/5G Summit will be held from October 16 & it’ll end on October 18. We are expecting that Qualcomm will announce the successor to the Snapdragon 835 during this event. The Snapdragon 845 will directly challenge the A11 Bionic so, performance expectations are really high this time. According to the last leak, this SOC may be the first in the row to utilize the power of the upcoming Cortex A75 core architecture.

Now as this is their 4G/5G Summit, we are expecting much more from the Snapdragon 845. So, we are hoping that the Snapdragon 845 may be the First ever Smartphone SOC to have 5G Cellular Capabilities built in. If this is true then, all the service providers who are already into 5G upto some sort, will get the starting point to bring 5G networks to real life use scenarios. And, if the Snapdragon 845 comes with 5G capabilities, the upcoming Snapdragon SOCs coming after it, will hopefully include 5G support as well. So, in a couple of years we may actually use 5G in our regular lives just like we use 4G LTE right now. But, we have to wait till the unveiling as. we have no confirmation on this possibility as of now.

So, we are definitely looking forward to the Snapdragon 845. Are you also looking forward or you’ll settle with the A11 Bionic this year ? Be sure to let us know in the comments section right below this article !
